It was after quite a while that I logged on to It Pays To Learn today.
Found out that the site's changed hands and I don't quite recollect getting any intimation to the effect from either the past or the current owners. It appears to be in a bit of a mess right now.
The Cashbank link is missing, the downlines link is missing, the V-mails link is missing, previous records of cash and points earned did not show up.
The cash offers page too seems to have glitches.
Understandable since it's being updated.
But the quiz was supposed to work.
I was doing their daily cash quiz when I got 'timed out' with one question remaining. That was a bit of a jerk since I nearly had it in the bag. Worse still, when I tried contacting them over the issue, the online contact form too seems to be having bugs... my kind 'suggestions' regarding fixing the site before opening up to public did not get through.
Am I the only one taken by surprise or did anybody else have similar experience?

I've been a member of IPTL for a while now, and about 2 weeks ago, I started seeing changes in some of the features there. Never got an email or anything though letting us know that new owners were taking over at the first of the year. I would get timed out right in the middle of a quiz, and sometimes when I tried to log in, it would say Services Unavailable. I sent in a payment for the 6 months membership and 1 FREE Referral, and I got to use about 1 1/2 months of it. So I guess now, with the new ownership saying there is going to be no more fees, and that everything is going to be free now, my membership fee just went out the window. Especially now since the CashBank link is gone, and only the QuizBank link is there, that might mean now the only thing you can get for taking the quizzes are QuizPoints, and the only thing you can do with those are buy advertising or referrals, where you have to pay some in cash, and some in QuizPoints. The quizzes still let you take 3 and then you are supposed to get a Daily Cash Quiz and be qualified to take other cash quizzes up to 50 cents worth. So since the quizzes themselves don't seem to be changed, maybe the fact that the CashBank link is not there, it might just be temporary. Hopefully so! I know I have been sending them emails about a different matter for several weeks now, and I was getting no response. At least now, I see why. Hopefully the new owners will update the sight, and give us all more earning opportunities. I do enjoy taking the quizzes and even my 13 year old son was doing some too. We can't find any other site online that will let us get paid to take quizzes, so I hope they keep doing so!

I'm a member of IPTL too and it looks like we lost all of our earnings as someone bought the site and changed it to a paid offer site. This is what you get when you click on the log in link:
Please note: We bought itpaystolearn.com at the end of 2006. If you had a user ID before that, unfortunately, it will no longer work. The old owner is no longer in business. Sorry, we can understand how annoying that can be! Could you please be so kind as to enter the user ID we emailed you when you clicked on your first offer in 2007. If you haven't received a new user ID from us, simply click on any offer to receive one. If you have misplaced your user ID, you can enter any number in the user ID field and we will automatically email your correct user ID to you. Then you can start to track your earnings. Thank you!

I was a member for years.. was the first I guess u could say "PTR" I joined. In fact this site is what really got me into the industry. I thought wow I can take this test and earn money (back then they didn't have the really PTR part of it) even got hubby to join back then

but once I got into the industry I only did itptl once in a while as I didn't really have time for it but always known it to be a good site. I don't know why the old owner left or what this new owner's expertise level is but I think it just all stinks. I have no want to rejoin whatsoever. I don't like how the members were sold without really any prior acknowledgement. Sorry for those affected in a lot of ways

never would have thought it of that site but well I guess it's just yet another proof you can't really trust anyone. Even the good goes bad sometimes

IPTL has now been put on the GPTboycott.com Boycott list.
http://www.gptboycott.com/programs/program...m=ItPaysToLearnI'm terribly sorry for all who've lost everything in this program. Very sad to see this one go belly up.
